My 20 year career history has included leadership roles in a range of sectors including manufacturing, construction, architecture, mining and heavy industry, sports, training and
consulting services. These have ranged from small family businesses to global international corporations in the UK, US, NZ and Australia and include Dyson, Fisher & Paykel, Williams F1 and SGS.  I understand the challenges of balancing all aspects of life and the stresses and strains this puts on both personal and professional relationships. I have a masters in social administration, specialising in human services space, as well as studying service design – strategic planning from the customers perspective.

Working in the community space managing competing government agendas and constantly shifting policies in an environment where funding is difficult I have experience of operating in an environment of continuous change and stress. This has helped me to become very resourceful and innovative.

I have also built up an understanding of how to implement and blend the principles used in larger organisations with the needs of small businesses has been an integral driver behind the implementation of Disability Services Australia (DSA) programmes across Sydney which involved delivery through a forming a group of small business to provide the services on behalf of DSA and then supporting and guiding those small businesses over 16 years.
