Michael Sleiman – Daystar First National R/Estate

I have a successful business and felt there was no need for additional support at the time. I was wrong, after attending my first board meeting I quickly came to the realisation it was the best business decision I had made since becoming a business owner. The members attending the board meeting shared ideas and insights regarding their business experience; being a positive thinker of course I thought had all the great ideas! Well it was evident I was far from perfect and I very quickly learnt to sit back and listen more, to those with many more years’ experience than me and thoughts form people with different personality traits. I particularly like the strategic planning tools (SBL) as they have helped me create my strategic business plan and contributed to the significant growth that we have enjoyed over the past few years. So a BIG thank you to T.A.B, sharing ideas and providing the environment to learn from others, has been the best decision I’ve made for many years.
